High-Speed Ready Meal Sleeving Machine
The ESTRENA WAS-150 Wrap-Around Sleever is designed specifically for single-pack ready meal products packed in trays, tubs or similar containers. Each product is individually positioned onto a flat cardboard sleeve blank, which is then folded upward and wrapped closely around the pack to create a secure, compact and retail-ready presentation.
Built for continuous production, the WAS-150 combines servo-driven motion control with a robust stainless-steel construction for accurate sleeve placement, smooth product handling and reliable operation. Its accessible design supports easier cleaning, maintenance and format changeover across different single-pack ready meal sizes and sleeve specifications.

Operation Sequence
Containers, such as ready-meal trays, enter the machine in a random flow and are timed and spaced by the infeed system before being transferred into the sleever by the main conveyor. A rotary feeder picks individual sleeve blanks and places each blank directly onto the corresponding container.
The containers are then carried forward by lug chains and overhead guide belts through a series of folding guides and powered components. As the sleeve is folded around the container, hot-melt adhesive is applied to the glue flap to complete the seal. The finished sleeved packs are discharged by the overhead guides and powered base belt.
