ELITER Packaging Machinery Installs for KERRA End-of-Line Packaging Solution
Overwrapping Machinery with International Presence
KEERA Herb, a Thailand manufacturer of Thai traditional medicine, ordered from ELITER Packaging Machinery in early 2022 an end-of-line packaging automation solution covering cartoning and overwrapping for their traditional herb supplement. The packaging line consists of a cartoning machine and an overwrapping machine and has been delivered and installed at KERRA’s site in Taladkwan, Thailand.
“KERRA Herb’s expectation with the packaging line is that it can reach a higher speed between 80 and 100 PPM to promote their production. While mentioned speed is not a big deal on a cartoning machine, the problem lies in the film overwrapping with which it is usually hard to fulfill such a higher speed. And that is from where ELITER stands out”, said Zixin Yuan, marketing representative at ELITER Packaging Machinery.
Patented Technology Enhances Market-Leading Performance
“The patented technology installed on the overwrapping machines by ELITER enables the machine to meet KERRA Herb’s expectation. The turret of our overwrapper is driven by the motor through a specially designed indexing gearbox, and also by our patent Tri.Driver. A higher level of stability and reliability is thus achieved at high speed.”, commented Zixin Yuan.
With the project currently having been accepted and installed at KERRA Herb’s site and commissioned at the required speed, ELITER Packaging Machinery is reinforcing further its excellence in overwrapping packaging automation and presence at an international level.
